The most bought vehicle has over 11 generations of the F-series, which the 12th series started in 2009. There is no record of how many F-150’s have actually been sold, but it is the most popular of the F-Series and there have been more than 29 million F-Series trucks that have been sold worldwide. And with that number it is more than likely that the F-150 has about half of those sales. That is why the F-150 is named the most bought vehicle of all time. Being the most bought vehicle doesn’t come easy, it needs to be developed over time and tailored to suit the world. That is how the most bought vehicle was created.
One of the key dates in Ford’s history was back in 1974 when they came out with the first Supercab. The Supercab which had a 44 cubic back seat was known as the first step towards a personal use truck. The Supercab development just begun and was already taking off. Still today there are Supercabs rolling off the line and being purchased even faster than back in 1974. The Supercab was a huge part in the F-150 being the most bought vehicle of all time.
